We welcome beginners, advanced practitioners, and yogis of all sizes, ages, genders, and backgrounds. We believe that yoga is for everybody. We know yoga can be intimidating— but it doesn’t have to be. Our mission is to provide a safe space to breathe, flow and grow!
In this dynamic class, you will link your breath with movement as you flow through sequences with an emphasis on breath, proper alignment, meditation, and physical movements to create balance and strength in your body. Students are encouraged to bring a block and a yoga mat.
A slow-paced practice combining gentle yoga poses and breathwork. It strengthens and stretches the entire body through flowing sequences and held postures. GentleFlow increases flexibility and helps to repair muscles. This class is an invitation to relax, unwind and de-stress. Open to all experience levels, although classes do entail getting up and down from your mat.
This practice is Yin yoga, which works deeply into the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons, cartilage and fascia) to heal joints and increase flexibility through slow, gentle and sustained movement. Yin yoga focuses on slowly stretching the connective tissues around joints, which penetrates deep into the connective tissue and invigorates the energy centers of the body, releasing blockages and increasing the flow of energy. This practice encourages you to not use your muscles and passive poses are held for several minutes. This class is a beautiful complement to our more active class. Students are encouraged to bring a blanket.
